Here it is! My 48 hour Rome guide for you!
Rome is such a special and unique place. It certainly takes more than 2 days to explore a city with such an immense history. However, we have already been there two times before, we have decided to spend it a bit differently this time. Our trip was not at all a typical tourist visit accompanied by sightseeing from day to night. We wanted to feel the real Italian vibe, eat nice food, wander around aimlessly and simply enjoy our time in Rome.

The Secret Key Hole in Rome
Aventine Hill is is such a magical place that became quickly our favourite location in Rome. On the hill you will find three places that you must see – the Orange garden, the Garden of roses and the Aventine key hole. I definitely recommend you to visit it at sunset when you will witness one of the most picturesque views of the city from the Orange garden. I will save my words for the Aventine key hole and only say that if you go to Rome, you should not miss the chance to have this one-of-its-kind experience.
Favourite Breakfast / Brunch place – Buddy
We found this place by accident and were surprised that it is open for 24 hours. They have nice breakfast options and buffet style lunch. All products are of highest quality. The interior is rather modern and staff is very kind. I recommend it for a quick grab, coffee or a glass of proseco. 🙂
Favourite Gelateria
Gelato is everywhere in Italy, but it it crucial to find the really good one! I totally recommend two places – Fiocco Di Neve and La Romana. It melts fast so be quick with the pictures 🙂
Do Something Special
Whether it will be a concert, theatre or anything else, it is better to fill one of the evenings with something special and exciting. Our whole trip was planned around the concert of Beyoncé and Jay-Z – OTRII and it made our trip so remarkable! It not only was an exciting event, but it also made everything more memorable!
I have also created my first vlog from my trip to Rome so if you want to see more click on the photo below. One more thing! The flights to Rome are also very convenient – Wizz Air has flights to Rome almost every day and it makes it perfect even for a two night stay.
