I love online shopping because I have access to all my favourite stores in a quick and convenient way & at any time. I love browsing and looking at the content of a specific e-shop, but when I need something in particular, I can easily sort by category, style, colour and more characteristics. I can review a larger number of products for a shorter period and this is an important advantage that keeps me shopping online. In other words, online shopping saves me a lot of time and that’s why I love it.
A few of my favourite online spots
Today I will share a few online shopping destinations that I like. Regarding fashion destinations I will probably not surprise you with my choices – I recommend ASOS, ZARA, MANGO – these are the places I mainly order from and I am happy with the delivery and return/exchange process. When I was living in London, I was shopping from Boohoo – you can check it out it if you’re looking for a variety of styles, trendy pieces at affordable prices. I love ZARA Home’s diversity of style & products and also love visiting their physical stores and browsing and just dreaming… Another favourite place is JYSK, where I always find something that matches my needs or just grabs my sight. Oysho is also a cute place, which I discovered recently (love the sleepwear)!
To put it briefly – my favourite online destinations are mainly related to fashion and decor. Is it the same with you?
Tips for online shopping
Even though the online shopping can be really convenient, we also need to be aware of the risks that exist. First of all, do not trust everything that you see. The online space is huge and there are many e-shops which offer “discounts” that are not very real because they have boosted the price of the items in advance. So, do not rush to add these “bargain” deals from an e-shops that you are not familiar with or have no trust in it.
If you are shopping from a foreign website, and not only, I advise you to get familiar with the terms of delivery and exchange or return of a product. I have experienced something that you probably did as well – to really like something from a store, but unfortunately there is no delivery to your country or the delivery is very expensive.
Lastly, I would like to offer you a solution that I recently discovered to some of the problems in the online shopping. Have you ever liked something from a small online store, but you are concerned for the safety of transaction process and you simply give up on that purchase? It has happened to me, and not only once. The thing that has always bothered me when shopping online is the security of my personal data. Here comes into use the simple solution that I wanted to share with you – virtual cards. I’ve learned about virtual cards recently and they are great for online shopping. This is why I want to share my opinion with you about them.
Why should we use virtual cards?
I already mentioned that security is critically important in online shopping for me. Thanks to iCard I know that there is an extra layer of protection on my funds. It is a mobile application with which allows us to store our bank accounts/cash deposits in virtual cards that do not put at risk our bank card details. In addition, for even greater security, the card can stay frozen all the time – we can easily unfreeze the virtual card before making a payment and freeze it again after. Setting limits on the cards happens with just one touch. We simply have full control over our virtual finances through a mobile app.
Easy & Convenient e-shopping
I signed up for iCard and received two virtual cards for free – one Visa and one MasterCard. The aim of iCard is to position your wallet from the pocket of your jeans to your phone by adding greater security and giving you extra convenience.
Something that I also like about the app is that it even offers an option for the design of your card – I like personalized things! For Android users there is also something cool – Tap & Pay feature for contactless payments at a POS terminal with just one touch of your phone.
I was impressed by iCard and I plan to use the app from now on when shopping online. There are more things that I want to share about iCard with you and I will do it soon! If you’re impatient and want to try it yourself, you can download the app for free and check out everything that I have just mentioned, and the rest of the app features! You can find well described all terms of use online if you have any questions. Are you already using iCard or a similar services and what do you think about it? I am curious to find out
