It is very important for me to have a space that makes me feel cozy but at the same time comfortable, effective and productive. I am spending a good amount of time working from home – during some week days, sometimes evenings and weekends depending on my schedule. Today, I am showing you bits of my creative temple that in any case isn’t perfect, but for me it is special. Welcome to my home office!
Decoration
If you follow me for a while on Instagram, you probably know that my passion is home decor. I think that for any office space it is vital to accommodate a creative and inspiring working environment with decorative elements that reflect your personality. What I personally do in my home office is change and re-arrange my desk all the time. As I am writing this, my desk will probably look completely different from what you see – I tend to change the decor spontaneously. I use anything that grabs my attention – fresh flowers, small decorative vases with dried flowers, frames, posters with quotes, and other decor pieces. I swap them around the house – from my desk, to my coffee table and little corners around. The things that I always keep on my desk are my desk planner from my brand REMINDART, my pen with a message & all the stationery accessories. We have just added a new collection with plenty of stationery & decor products that will make your space elegant & inspiring – you can check the collection here.
My tips for a home office
Working from home is convenient because it offers an opportunity for real comfort and environment that is calm and pleasant. However, if you can’t distinguish work atmosphere from home atmosphere it becomes a bit of a problem. If you are planning to create a home office space, try separating your office from the rest of the house. Even if it is a corner of your room – in my case living room, do it so it feels like a different space.
Finally, I would say make this space your own. Make sure that it looks inspiring to you, makes you feel good and reflects your personality. Simply enjoy being there and it will positively influence the quality and amount of work you do.
