Hey, guys! This weekend I attended Hello, my name is Paul Smith – the Paul Smith exhibition at the Design Museum in London! I absolutely loved it, it inspired me a lot and I learned some new things about Paul Smith and his development throughout the years! To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of Paul Smith’s style. His collections are not exactly my cup of tea. However, I am a huge fan of his inspirations, hobbies, perseverance and everything that he had ever done to create his successful brand!
If you are living in London and you are interested you can still attend the exhibition, it is until the 9th of March 2014! Hurry up, it is definitely worth it!

‘This was the size of my first shop.’
Paul Smith literally started from nothing, but his talent and ideas and went all the way up to the top!
Ideas for his logo
‘Ideas can come from anywhere – you can take inspiration from anything.
Literally anything can spark off an idea.’
There was a huge room of photos that he had taken while he was looking for inspirations from observing people.
‘This was my first showroom.’
His first showroom was a bedroom in a hotel in Paris and his first collection consisted of just six shirts, two jumpers and two suits.
‘This is where ideas are created.’
‘I have been taking photographs since I was eleven, photography is one of my hobbies.’
I am obsessed with this wall! I will have one at my future home!
Hope you liked it!xx
