Hey guys! I am excited to present you my newest project for Little Hill People – an ethical fashion brand based in Manchester, which makes handbags, purses and accessories with traditional textiles from the North East of India. I got the chance to review one of their products – a blue fringe bag, and I think it fits perfectly to my style!
Little Hill People designs fashionable bags and accessories using traditional handloom and handicrafts. The products are made from tribal shawls and jewellery with contemporary catwalk-inspired design. The handbags would be classed as cross-cultural, as they take a traditional Eastern product and combine it with a new Western theme. Their bags and purses are a true fusion of classic and fashionable design.
I picked this beautiful blue fringe bag and combined it with a pair of washed denim shorts, simple white top and white platform heels. I think the handbag is the accent of this outfit, making it outstanding and more sassy. The fabric is actually leather and cotton and the fringes are made from cotton sarong of the Bodo tribe. I decided to create more casual look with it, but if you want something more sophisticated, pair it with any white dress – I think it will look so cute! I hope you enjoyed this article and don’t forget to check out their newest designer bags on their website! I personally love this one from their new range! Which one is your favourite?
